High Dynamic Range Imaging became my main workflow in early 2006 (I started extensively testing HDRI in 2005). I’ve lost count, but I have shot somewhere north of 1000 properties in the last 6 years. On a typical shoot I will deliver roughly twenty (20) tonemapped images. That’s well over 20,000 HDR images captured and then tonemapped to Tiffs/JPEGs for commercial use. That doesn’t include the countless landscapes and random shots I’ve bracketed for HDR/Tonemapping in post. I’d probably have to add another 1500 to the total to be accurate.
I’m constantly testing new apps for high dynamic range imaging as they come on the market. I don’t have extensive experience with every single piece of software out there for manipulating high dynamic range images, but I’ve been around the block a few times with many of the more commercially viable ones.
